
Anne-Marie Davee, M.S. RDN, LD

Anne-Marie is a registered dietitian with over 25 years of experience in the field of nutrition and health promotion. She has worked in a wide variety of settings including education, corporate for profit, retail, non-profit, and healthcare. Previous employers include RSU No. 5 (Durham-Freeport-Pownal), the University of Southern Maine (USM) Muskie School of Public Service, USM College of Nursing and Allied Health Professions, Hannaford Supermarkets, Eastern Maine Medical Center, Central Maine Medical Center, and Stephens Memorial Hospital. Anne-Marie has published research in the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research (1990), Preventing Chronic Disease (2005), Journal of School Health (2007) and Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior (2008). Anne-Marie is also a competitive athlete, having completed 20 (26-mile) marathons and 15 triathalons, including qualifying for and competing in the first Women's Olympic Marathon trials in 1984. She has received numerous awards, including the Bicycle Coalition of Maine's Harry Faust Leadership Award (2013) and the U.S. Surgeon General's Healthy Youth for a Healthy Future Champion Award (2008), and was inducted into the Maine Running Hall of Fame in 2000.
